Hello!
My name is Olha, and I am a Product Designer.
I am a self-directed, motivated, empathetic, solution-oriented, highly organized individual with strong observational skills. I enjoy solving complex problems and have a passion for learning.
Since 2019, I have been working at Critical Techworks for BMW, where I have gained experience in delivering design solutions that consider both user and business needs. I work with software engineers, product owners, and managers to ensure that the product meets user needs and is easy to use. According to the Scrum methodology, I also collaborate closely with business analytics, stakeholders, UX Design Leads, Visual Designers, Copywriters, and other teams from Germany and China.
My experience includes designing end-to-end, comprehensive, user-centered design solutions.
I have designed numerous features for the MyBMW App specifically within the Map Tab and Settings sections. This work involves creating onboarding flows for new users, providing explanations, and incorporating advertising features that require marketing and compliance approval.
The process starts with gathering user and business requirements, followed by service design and conducting user research using personas and user journey maps. I lead kickoff meetings to gather requirements and assess user needs.
I take into account mobile design patterns for both iOS and Android, utilizing ideation techniques like mind mapping, process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors.
For the minimum viable product (MVP), I prepare prototypes along with questions for user testing and finalize design deliverables, including user interface (UI) elements. Throughout this process, I collaborate closely with developers to ensure technical feasibility.
Additionally, I present and defend my designs to stakeholders and design leads for their review, feedback, and approval.
Prior to my current role, I worked on various projects at Tangivel, the first user-centered design consulting agency in Portugal, where I authored a couple of articles for the UX-PM certification.
I contributed to various projects using service design methods, including the creation of personas and user research techniques, as well as facilitating kick-off meetings. Additionally, I prepared and conducted numerous usability studies on existing banking products from Santander and e-commerce products, gathering findings and insights to enhance usability. I designed both web and mobile applications. Notably, I played a key role in the development of MBWay, a payment app that enables users to send money, make payments, and withdraw cash from ATMs.
I truly appreciate your attention and hope we can connect soon!
